For all of your First Aid & Safety Supplies
The X-am 2000 has been specially designed for personal monitoring. The 1- to 4-gas detector reliably measures combustible gases and vapors, as well as O2, CO and H22. In combination with an external pump, the Dräger X-am 2000 can be easily adapted to measure confined spaces before entry. Reliable measurement technology, long sensor life and easy operation combine maximum safety with a low cost of ownership.
ERGONOMIC DESIGN
The Dräger X-am 2000's low weight and unique mobile phone design provides users a high level of comfort and convenience. Thanks to the practical two-button operation and straightforward menu, the instrument can be used intuitively.
VAPOR-SENSITIVE EX MEASUREMENT
For improved safety when facing unknown hazards, the catalytic Ex sensor, calibrated to methane, not only responds quickly to explosive gases, but also offers a high level of sensitivity to combustible organic vapors. Therefore, Dräger X-am 2000 provides dependable warnings in the event of explosive hazards.
LONG-LIFE ELECTROCHEMICAL SENSORS
DrägerSensors stand for innovative technology at the highest level, and offer an expected lifetime up to five years. The Dräger X-am 2000 features the latest series of powerful electrochemical DrägerSensors from the miniaturized XXS generation.
ROBUST AND WATER-TIGHT
The Dräger X-am 2000 is water and dustresistant to IP 67. That means that the instrument remains fully functional and ready for use even after being dropped in water. The integrated rubber protection and shock-proof sensors ensure additional resistance to impact and vibration. Furthermore, the Dräger X-am 2000 is able to withstand electromagnetic interference.
GAS INLETS ON TWO SURFACES
The functional design ensures that gas can enter the instrument from the top and the front, so even if the Dräger X-am 2000 is accidentally put in a jacket pocket, it will still provide a reliable warning against gas hazards.
EXTERNAL PUMP
An optional external pump with up to 20 meters of hose can be used as the solution for applications such as confined space entry into tanks, pipelines, etc. When the instrument is placed in the cradle, the pump automatically starts. The change between diffusion and pump operation is quickly and easily possible without any need for additional tools or steps.
